NAME

ASSERT_IS_EQUAL_DBL - (MACRO) Calls kjb_abort if arguments are not almost exactly equal

SYNOPSIS

#include "l/l_sys_debug.h"

Example compile flags (system dependent):
  -DLINUX_X86_64 -DLINUX_X86_64_OPTERON  -DGNU_COMPILER
   -I/home/kobus/include
   -L/home/kobus/misc/load/linux_x86_64_opteron -L/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu
  -lKJB -lfftw3 -lgsl -lgslcblas -ljpeg -lSVM -lstdc++ -lpthread -lSLATEC -lg2c -lacml -lacml_mv -lblas -lg2c -lncursesw

void ASSERT_IS_EQUAL_DBL
(
	double x,
	double y
);

DESCRIPTION

This macro only does something in development code. In production code (i.e. code compiled without -DTEST, this macro evaluates to null. If the double precision arguments are not eqaul, then this macro prints the assertion, together with the file and line number, on standard error. It then calls kjb_abort. This assert only makes sense if the numbers are meant to be exactly equaly. Otherwise, use IS_NEARLY_EQUAL_DBL().

DISCLAIMER

This software is not adequatedly tested. It is recomended that results are checked independantly where appropriate.
