DESCRIPTION

This routine reads a matrix from a file as specified by a file pointer into a matrix. The matrix must already exist. Currently there must be exactly one number per line in the file. "fp" points to a FILE structure associated with the input stream as returned by "kjb_fopen". "mp" is a pointer to a Matrix . This matrix must already exist, and have the predefined size 'mp->num_rows' X 'mp->num_cols'.

RETURNS

ERROR, if EOF is encountered before num_rows X num_cols elements have been read, or if an error occurs reading a floating point number. EOF, if the file is empty. NO_ERROR on success.
