int get_kjb_pthread_self(kjb_pthread_t *tid);
DESCRIPTION
Use this instead of pthread_self().
This looks up and returns (via an output pointer) the thread ID structure
for the calling thread's own identity.
The input pointer 'tid' must not equal to NULL.
LOCK STATUS: no, this does not block
RETURNS
This returns NO_ERROR if successful, otherwise it sets an error message
and returns ERROR.
