kjb_fgetc - Reads a character from a stream

int kjb_fgetc(FILE *fp);

DESCRIPTION

kjb_getc is very similar to the standard getc, except that error reporting is made consistent with the other library routines, and the error messages are more meaningfull. This function is not re-entrant (i.e., not thread-safe).

RETURNS

On success, the character read is returned. On end of file, EOF is returned. If the system does not restart the read after an interupt, and the read was interupted, then INTERRUPTED is returned. On more serious failures an error message is set, and ERROR is returned.
