DESCRIPTION

This routine is a wrapper for glob() with optional filtering. It thus deals with system dependent aspects to glob(), and puts the result into the KJB library type "Word_list". If filter_fn() is NOT null, the reults are further pruned based on whether it evaluates to TRUE. A typical value for filter_fn() is is_file(). The matches are placed in the list of strings data structure (*dir_files_pp) which is created and/or resized as needed. The number of matches is available in (*dir_files_pp)->num_words. If there are no matches, or if patern is NULL, then a Word_list of zero words is created. This is considered a successful return (NO_ERROR).

RETURNS

On success kjb_glob returns NO_ERROR. On failure ERROR is returned and an error message is set.
