DESCRIPTION

This routine is an alternative interface to glob(), where the pattern is being built up of [beg_pattern]*[end_pattern], and the values of what is matched to the "*" is required. Either beg_pattern and/or end_pattern can be NULL. If star_str_pp is not NULL, then the values matched to the the "*" are placed in (*star_str_pp). (This routine is normally called with star_str_pp not NULL, otherwise kjb_glob would tyically be used). Otherwise, this routine is similar to kjb_glob().

RETURNS

On success kjb_simple_glob returns NO_ERROR. On failure ERROR is returned and an error message is set.
