NAME

parse_path - Strips suffixes and directory from a file name

SYNOPSIS

Example compile flags (system dependent):

DESCRIPTION

This routine is similar to get_base_path except it also breaks down the path into a leading directory string and a base file name.

RETURNS

NO_ERROR on success, ERROR on failure.
