DESCRIPTION

This routine is an alternative method to specfiy bars. The X ordinates for the bars are specified directly in the second argument, x_vp, with the Y ordinates (bar heights) are provided as the third argument (y_vp). The bar_width is supplied as an argument, instead of being computed automatically. If the argument stripe_width is positive, the bars are striped with lines this distance apart. If label_str is not NULL, than it is used to label the bars.

RETURNS

NO_ERROR on success, and ERROR on failure, with an error message being set.
