Modeling and Visualizing Alternaria       (Demo)
In this project we are constructing stochastic L-systems for microscopic fungus in the genus Alternaria. There are two main reasons for doing so. The first is to provide for visualization and understanding of the structure of the various species of Alternaria, and how it corresponds to function. The second goal is to provide models that can be fit to data in high throughput experiments, leading to automated quantification of structure and species identification.
